Cooking over fire is way more predictable now that I’m using this lid—the heat really does stay concentrated, and my burgers came out evenly cooked in about half the usual time. I loaded it with charcoal and it held up fine, no warping or rust issues after a few solid uses.

Swapped out the old grate for this lid and the difference in heat distribution is obvious—the charcoal lit faster and food cooked evenly without constant flipping. I wasn’t expecting it to be this sturdy, but it’s held up fine through a few windy evenings.

The lid sits snugly and really concentrates the heat—I got a much faster, more even cook than I ever did with a pan. Being able to switch between charcoal and firewood without swapping gear makes it a solid upgrade for any cookout.
